TES70371 is an AS568-371 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 8.475 in (215.27 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.895 in (225.93 mm). PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is valued for excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling and a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface. This material stands up to strong acids and solvents, nearly all process chemicals, and steam. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges will shorten service life.
