This o-ring is supplied in AS568-377 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 9.975 in (253.37 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.395 in (264.03 mm), catalogued under part number TES70377. PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone offers a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface and chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone. The compound resists nearly all process chemicals, wide temperature swings, and steam. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing are present.

Typical settings include food and beverage processing, chemical processing, and cryogenic and high-temperature equipment.
