This o-ring is supplied in AS568-437 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 5.975 in (151.77 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.525 in (165.74 mm), catalogued under part number TES70437. It resists strong acids and solvents, steam, and nearly all process chemicals. PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is valued for a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface and excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing.
