Part number TES70438 is an AS568-438 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 6.225 in (158.12 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.775 in (172.09 mm). As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone delivers chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone and a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core. It resists steam, strong acids and solvents, and nearly all process chemicals. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges.
