568-442 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

TES70442 is an AS568-442 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 7.225 in (183.52 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.775 in (197.49 mm). PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified here for non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface and excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling. The material holds up against nearly all process chemicals, strong acids and solvents, and steam. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges will shorten service life.
