568-450 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

Part number TES70450 is an AS568-450 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 10.475 in (266.07 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 11.025 in (280.04 mm). PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified here for excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling and chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone. The compound resists nearly all process chemicals, steam, and strong acids and solvents. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges.

Typical settings include chemical processing, food and beverage processing, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
