568-464 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

APG stocks the TES70464, an AS568-464 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 17.455 in (443.36 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 18.005 in (457.33 mm). PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified for strong resistance to permeation and a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface. It resists steam, nearly all process chemicals, and strong acids and solvents. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing are present.

Common environments for this compound include cryogenic and high-temperature equipment, food and beverage processing, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
