568-472 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

The TES70472 is an AS568-472 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 22.94 in (582.68 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 23.49 in (596.65 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware. Supplementary detail from the product record: ORING 70 Durometer.

The compound resists steam, nearly all process chemicals, and wide temperature swings. PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone delivers excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling and a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges are present.

Typical settings include pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical processing, and food and beverage processing.
