568-020 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

The TEV80020 is an AS568-020 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.864 in (21.95 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.004 in (25.5 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified here for seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core and long service life in aggressive chemical duty. This material stands up to aggressive oxidizers, steam, and strong acids and solvents. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care.

It sees regular use in food and beverage, aggressive-media valves and pumps, and chemical processing.
