568-021 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Ordered as TEV80021, this is an AS568-021 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.926 in (23.52 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.066 in (27.08 mm). The o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

This material stands up to steam, strong acids and solvents, and nearly all process chemicals. PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is widely chosen for long service life in aggressive chemical duty and chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care will shorten service life.
