568-034 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-034 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 2.114 in (53.7 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.254 in (57.25 mm), catalogued under part number TEV80034. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is valued for long service life in aggressive chemical duty and a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core. The compound resists nearly all process chemicals, steam, and aggressive oxidizers. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing are present.

Common environments for this compound include aggressive-media valves and pumps, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and semiconductor equipment.
