Part number TEV80040 is an AS568-040 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.864 in (72.75 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.004 in (76.3 mm). An o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

The material holds up against aggressive oxidizers, strong acids and solvents, and steam. PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is widely chosen for a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination.
