568-117 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

The TEV80117 is an AS568-117 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.799 in (20.29 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.005 in (25.53 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® delivers excellent resistance to permeation and contamination, long service life in aggressive chemical duty. The compound resists nearly all process chemicals, aggressive oxidizers, and strong acids and solvents. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing.

It sees regular use in semiconductor equipment, food and beverage, and aggressive-media valves and pumps.
