568-119 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-119 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 0.924 in (23.47 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.13 in (28.7 mm), catalogued under part number TEV80119. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is valued for excellent resistance to permeation and contamination, chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. It resists aggressive oxidizers, strong acids and solvents, and steam. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care call for a different compound.

Typical settings include semiconductor equipment, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and food and beverage.
