568-136 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

TEV80136 is an AS568-136 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.987 in (50.47 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.193 in (55.7 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® offers chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring and a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core. It resists strong acids and solvents, steam, and aggressive oxidizers. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care are present.

Common environments for this compound include pharmaceutical manufacturing, aggressive-media valves and pumps, and chemical processing.
