568-142 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Part number TEV80142 is an AS568-142 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.362 in (59.99 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.568 in (65.23 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Expect good resistance to aggressive oxidizers, steam, and strong acids and solvents. PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified for a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core and long service life in aggressive chemical duty. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care call for a different compound.
