568-147 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

TEV80147 is an AS568-147 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.675 in (67.95 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.881 in (73.18 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® offers a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling and a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core. The material holds up against steam, strong acids and solvents, and nearly all process chemicals. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care are present.

Typical settings include food and beverage, aggressive-media valves and pumps, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
