568-158 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Part number TEV80158 is an AS568-158 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 4.737 in (120.32 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.943 in (125.55 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified here for long service life in aggressive chemical duty and non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling. The material holds up against strong acids and solvents, steam, and nearly all process chemicals. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care will shorten service life.
