TEV80210 is an AS568-210 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.734 in (18.64 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.012 in (25.7 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.
As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is valued for long service life in aggressive chemical duty, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. Expect good resistance to aggressive oxidizers, steam, and strong acids and solvents. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing.
Typical settings include chemical processing, semiconductor equipment, and aggressive-media valves and pumps.
