568-218 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

TEV80218 is an AS568-218 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.234 in (31.34 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.512 in (38.4 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified here for chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring and seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core. Expect good resistance to nearly all process chemicals, steam, and strong acids and solvents. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Verify compatibility before use with installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing.

Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across pharmaceutical manufacturing, semiconductor equipment, and aggressive-media valves and pumps.
