568-219 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Part number TEV80219 is an AS568-219 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.296 in (32.92 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.574 in (39.98 mm). An o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

The material holds up against strong acids and solvents, aggressive oxidizers, and nearly all process chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is valued for long service life in aggressive chemical duty and chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care.
