568-233 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Ordered as TEV80233, this is an AS568-233 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.859 in (72.62 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.137 in (79.68 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® offers chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. The material holds up against strong acids and solvents, aggressive oxidizers, and nearly all process chemicals. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
