568-243 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

TEV80243 is an AS568-243 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 4.109 in (104.37 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.387 in (111.43 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is valued for excellent resistance to permeation and contamination, chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. Expect good resistance to strong acids and solvents, steam, and aggressive oxidizers. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
