568-263 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Part number TEV80263 is an AS568-263 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 7.234 in (183.74 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.512 in (190.8 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified here for non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling and chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. It resists strong acids and solvents, nearly all process chemicals, and steam. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care.
