568-275 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Part number TEV80275 is an AS568-275 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 10.484 in (266.29 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.762 in (273.35 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified for a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling and chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. This material stands up to aggressive oxidizers, strong acids and solvents, and nearly all process chemicals. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in semiconductor equipment, chemical processing, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
