TEV80279 is an AS568-279 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 12.984 in (329.79 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 13.262 in (336.85 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

This material stands up to nearly all process chemicals, strong acids and solvents, and steam. PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® offers a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling and a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care.

It sees regular use in pharmaceutical manufacturing, aggressive-media valves and pumps, and food and beverage.
