568-326 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

APG stocks the TEV80326, an AS568-326 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.6 in (40.64 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.02 in (51.31 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified here for long service life in aggressive chemical duty and seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core. The material holds up against nearly all process chemicals, aggressive oxidizers, and steam. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care call for a different compound.
