568-332 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-332 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 2.35 in (59.69 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.77 in (70.36 mm), catalogued under part number TEV80332. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified here for chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring and non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling. It resists steam, nearly all process chemicals, and strong acids and solvents. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing will shorten service life.
