568-356 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

APG stocks the TEV80356, an AS568-356 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.35 in (135.89 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.77 in (146.56 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to strong acids and solvents, nearly all process chemicals, and steam. PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is known for excellent resistance to permeation and contamination, chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care are present.

It sees regular use in chemical processing, aggressive-media valves and pumps, and semiconductor equipment.
