568-362 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

TEV80362 is an AS568-362 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 6.225 in (158.12 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.645 in (168.78 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® offers a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. The material holds up against steam, strong acids and solvents, and nearly all process chemicals. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing will shorten service life.

Common environments for this compound include aggressive-media valves and pumps, chemical processing, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
