568-432 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

TEV80432 is an AS568-432 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.35 in (135.89 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.9 in (149.86 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The compound resists strong acids and solvents, aggressive oxidizers, and steam. PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® offers chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing are present.
