568-444 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Ordered as TEV80444, this is an AS568-444 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 7.725 in (196.22 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.275 in (210.19 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® offers excellent resistance to permeation and contamination, chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. It resists nearly all process chemicals, aggressive oxidizers, and steam. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care.
