568-446 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

TEV80446 is an AS568-446 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 8.475 in (215.27 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.025 in (229.24 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified for excellent resistance to permeation and contamination, a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core. This material stands up to steam, aggressive oxidizers, and strong acids and solvents. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing.
