568-448 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

TEV80448 is an AS568-448 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 9.475 in (240.67 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.025 in (254.64 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® delivers long service life in aggressive chemical duty and a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling. This material stands up to nearly all process chemicals, aggressive oxidizers, and strong acids and solvents. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care are present.
