568-458 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

APG stocks the TEV80458, an AS568-458 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 14.475 in (367.67 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 15.025 in (381.64 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is widely chosen for a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling and long service life in aggressive chemical duty. The compound resists strong acids and solvents, aggressive oxidizers, and nearly all process chemicals. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care.
