568-468 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Ordered as TEV80468, this is an AS568-468 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 19.455 in (494.16 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 20.005 in (508.13 mm). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified here for non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. Expect good resistance to steam, aggressive oxidizers, and nearly all process chemicals. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care call for a different compound.
