568-011 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Part number TEV80011 is an AS568-011 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.301 in (7.65 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.441 in (11.2 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is known for long service life in aggressive chemical duty, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. The compound resists strong acids and solvents, aggressive oxidizers, and nearly all process chemicals. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care.
