568-014 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Ordered as TEV80014, this is an AS568-014 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.489 in (12.42 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.629 in (15.98 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The material holds up against aggressive oxidizers, strong acids and solvents, and nearly all process chemicals. PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® offers a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling and chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care will shorten service life.
