568-015 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-015 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 0.551 in (14 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.691 in (17.55 mm), catalogued under part number TEV80015. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® offers a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core and long service life in aggressive chemical duty. The material holds up against strong acids and solvents, steam, and nearly all process chemicals. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing will shorten service life.
