568-019 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Part number TEV80019 is an AS568-019 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.801 in (20.35 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.941 in (23.9 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified here for chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. This material stands up to steam, aggressive oxidizers, and nearly all process chemicals. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).

It sees regular use in aggressive-media valves and pumps, chemical processing, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
