TEV80023 is an AS568-023 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.051 in (26.7 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.191 in (30.25 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is valued for long service life in aggressive chemical duty and a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core. It resists nearly all process chemicals, aggressive oxidizers, and strong acids and solvents. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing will shorten service life.

Common environments for this compound include chemical processing, food and beverage, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
