*568-027 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORIN

The TEV80027 is an AS568-027 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.301 in (33.05 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.441 in (36.6 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is valued for excellent resistance to permeation and contamination, chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. The compound resists nearly all process chemicals, steam, and aggressive oxidizers. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in pharmaceutical manufacturing, aggressive-media valves and pumps, and semiconductor equipment.
