568-029 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-029 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 1.489 in (37.82 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.629 in (41.38 mm), catalogued under part number TEV80029. It compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is valued for a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. It resists aggressive oxidizers, nearly all process chemicals, and strong acids and solvents. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
