568-030 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Part number TEV80030 is an AS568-030 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.614 in (41 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.754 in (44.55 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is valued for a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling and chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. The compound resists nearly all process chemicals, aggressive oxidizers, and strong acids and solvents. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care are present.

Common environments for this compound include semiconductor equipment, food and beverage, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
