568-037 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Part number TEV80037 is an AS568-037 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.489 in (63.22 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.629 in (66.78 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified for excellent resistance to permeation and contamination, chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. It resists nearly all process chemicals, aggressive oxidizers, and steam. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing will shorten service life.

Typical settings include pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical processing, and semiconductor equipment.
