568-038 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

APG stocks the TEV80038, an AS568-038 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.614 in (66.4 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.754 in (69.95 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® delivers long service life in aggressive chemical duty and chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. This material stands up to strong acids and solvents, steam, and nearly all process chemicals. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care.
