568-047 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Ordered as TEV80047, this is an AS568-047 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 4.489 in (114.02 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.629 in (117.58 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is widely chosen for chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring and a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling. Expect good resistance to strong acids and solvents, nearly all process chemicals, and steam. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing.
