568-049 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

APG stocks the TEV80049, an AS568-049 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.989 in (126.72 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.129 in (130.28 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to aggressive oxidizers, strong acids and solvents, and nearly all process chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® offers a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
