568-111 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

APG stocks the TEV80111, an AS568-111 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.424 in (10.77 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.63 in (16 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is valued for a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core and chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. It resists strong acids and solvents, steam, and aggressive oxidizers. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care call for a different compound.
