The TEV80113 is an AS568-113 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.549 in (13.94 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.755 in (19.18 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to strong acids and solvents, nearly all process chemicals, and steam. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® delivers long service life in aggressive chemical duty, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care.

Common environments for this compound include aggressive-media valves and pumps, food and beverage, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
